Andrew Ouderkirk

Innovator and Scientist.

Andy is an inventor on over 500 issued US patents, a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Northwestern University. As a Corporate Scientist at 3M, Andy led the creation of Multlayer Optical Film, a multi-billion dollar engineering and product platform. As Senior Research Director at Meta Reality Labs, he led teams developing novel optical systems for augmented and virtual reality.

Ted Florea

Strategist & Behavioral Economist.

Ted is a brand and marketing strategist with over twenty years of experience on Madison Ave and in San Francisco launching campaigns for the world's most innovative brands. As Founder of Ancient Consulting, Global Chief Strategy Officer at Forsman & Bodenfors, and Head of Brand Strategy at Droga5 and Huge, Ted has developed strategies for iconic and tech-forward companies including Google X, Anthropic, Netflix, Intel, Goldman Sachs, and BMW.

Thomas B. Mader

Architect and Concept Engineer

Tom is a deep-tech executive and system architect who has held multiple C-suite and Director-level roles at major corporations and successful startups. As Director of Concept Engineering at Amazon’s Lab126, he led the team responsible for creating and driving adoption of multiple key hardware initiatives. Previously, he was a Director and Principal Engineer at Intel, where he founded the technology adopted for the Thunderbolt interface. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Boulder.
